Local clubs, we need you! Join our Mini's Festival and coaching experience on Family Fun Day
Calling community clubs! Join us on Saturday 23rd September at Goldington Road, home of Bedford Blues, as we host an U9s and U10s Minis Festival in the build up to the Premiership Cup clash with Caldy.
Each year, Goldington Road hosts a Blues Foundation Family Fun Day and this year it’s at one of the first home matches of the campaign as Blues will hope to continue momentum at HQ following the thrilling victory over Northampton Saints last time out.
As well as the usual inflatables, fun activities and games; we’re ramping things up ever further this year with an inaugural Minis Tournament hosted on the back pitch in the build up to the cup fixture.
Every team that enters will receive a ticket allocation to stay and watch the main event unfold, with places children’s free to all interested clubs.
The day will involve:
Pre-game tournament and coaching clinics
Guard of Honour
Half time parade
Entry to Bedford Blues V Cadly
Meet Bedford Blues Players
Live Rugby World Cup matches on the big screen
Marketplace stools and family activities
Inflatables
Blues Foundation Community Rugby Manager, Ben Wiggins said: “Our Blues Foundation Family Fun Day has grown exponentially in the past few years, and we are delighted to welcome community clubs to the day!
“It also offers us the scope to engage with rugby clubs not just in Bedfordshire, but hopefully into the neighbouring Northants and Bucks areas as well. Please do get in contact and join us on the day for the first ever Blues Foundation Minis Tournament.”
